About Me

Hi there! I'm Abraham Ezrilov. Let's talk.

History

California Dreamin'

I was born and raised in Southern California, growing up in the 2000's surrounded by a rapidly changing technology landscape. Every year, a new gadget would come out that would immediately render last year's obsolete. My father worked for years in the telecom industry, where he helped get connectivity to businesses, airports, military bases - you name it. Because of this, my house often had a lot of technology laying around, and my curious mind often led me to reassemble whatever my dad had left out on the workbench, to various degrees of success.

As I grew older, I gradually took on more of the projects that my dad no longer had time for, which led me to getting very early experience with network infrastructure, systems management, and customer communications. Before I turned 18, I had already taken over all of his side-gigs, which helped me establish connections and get my mind oriented for the world I was about to enter.

In 2022, I decided to do the unthinkable: I left my home state. I was now heading to Seattle, Washington. This was something I had previously sworn to myself that I wouldn't do (because of my deep love for San Diego), but I had a hunger to push my career farther and do it in a landscape that was one of the world epicenters of technology. I'm happy to say that since making that move, I've been able to achieve all of the goals I had set for myself, and now I challenge myself to greater heights and more knowledge to acquire.

The Ezrilov Name

Decades of raising the bar.

My family name is a lot more than just a name to me. It carries generations of leaders, who stood up to multiple challenges and obstacles of their time and still helped define and shape the industries that existed then and now. My grandfather was instrumental in helping bring to the world a concept we take for granted now: A Connected World. Before the internet we know and love came about, my grandfather led the deployment of computer terminals in public spaces - think airports and train stations. These terminals allowed users to log in, view the news, check their bank accounts, book flights, you name it! Decades later, inspired by both my grandfather and father, I continue the tradition of bringing new innovations to the world, and sharing in the love of technology and what it can do for us.

What Tomorrow Brings

Challenges and New Opportunities

I seek to expand and grow upon the knowledge I've gained over the years, and that involves running at challenges head-on and not backing down. It's naive to think that tech will remain the way it does now; it both transforms and is transformed by the world around it. There will be different needs, different wants, and different solutions that'll come and go over the next century. My goal, in both life and career, is to remain in a learning attitude, and to help bring a new generation of leaders who in turn will bring their own ideas to the table. Those who remain stuck in their old ways will often fade with the world that once existed but cannot last forever. I too won't last forever, but what I can do is make sure that I adapt and evolve with the world, and contribute as much as I can while I'm here.

Let's see what we can build together.
